From Friday, April 25 to Sunday, May 11, 2025, a koinobori (carp streamer) designed by Kesete Habtesion, a staff member of FGC will be displayed at the “Koinobori Gallery” as part of “MIDTOWN OPEN THE PARK 2025” held at Tokyo Midtown.
The “Koinobori Gallery” is an event themed around “Wishing for Children's Growth,” featuring 101 unique and original koinobori created by artists, designers, and art enthusiasts from Japan and around the world. These vibrant streamers will beautifully decorate the fresh greenery of Midtown Garden. Kesete, who is from Eritrea, designed his koinobori with the theme “Eritrea and Peace,” expressing his heartfelt thoughts for his homeland with the cooperation of the Embassy of Eritrea.
