Following the magnitude seven earthquake that struck the Noto Peninsula on January 1st this year, emergency fund-raising activities were organized by SEISA Group, involving all its divisions and offices, with FGC serving as the coordination point. Notices were posted, and donation boxes were set up at SEISA school buildings and preschools across Japan. The campaign received generous support from students, parents, faculty, staff, and many individuals associated with SEISA Group.
On Wednesday, March 27th, a visit was made to Toyama City Mayor Hirohisa Fujii to present the collected donations totaling 589,887 yen to Toyama City. Toyama City has a close relationship with SEISA Group, including SEISA Kokusai High School Toyama, Chyuo Children’s Center, and various childcare facilities. Given the earthquake also caused significant damage in Toyama City, which was in need of support, the decision was made to donate the funds there.
During the visit, Ms. Mao Yoshida, a student council member of SEISA Kokusai High School Toyama, handed over a catalog of the donations to Mayor Hirohisa Fujii. Accompanied by a letter of appreciation, the mayor expressed that Toyama City will utilize the heartfelt donation to assist those affected by the earthquake.
Thank you very much for your cooperation and support in this fund-raising campaign!
