Mr. Dejen and Mr. Penjor, from Eritrea in Africa and Bhutan in Asia, graduated from SEISA University on September 19, 2023.
They came to Japan as the first sports scholarship students supported by FGC and SEISA Group, and they pursued athletics and studies at SEIASA Kokusai High School and SEIA University Accommodation Course. The new challenge at SEIASA University was to overcome language and cultural barriers, deepen their knowledge, and hone their talents in sports.
At the graduation ceremony, H.E. Ambassador Mr. Estifanos Afeworki from the Embassy of Eritrea in Japan and many officials from Bhutan online were presented to congratulate them.
Mr. Dejen and Mr. Penjor, who have grown up after their high school and university years in Japan, proudly expressed their gratitude to everyone who has supported them and their determination for the future.
