SEISA Group and FGC have been providing ongoing support to children in disaster affected areas since the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. A staff member of SEISA Group, who has played a central role in these efforts has established the General Incorporated Association “Dream Forest Supporters” and has initiated their activities by taking on the operation of after-school childcare in Okuma Town, Fukushima Prefecture.

Okuma Town, located in the Hamadori region of Fukushima Prefecture, experienced a complete evacuation due to the Great East Japan Earthquake and nuclear disaster in 2011. Partial evacuation orders were lifted in 2019, and in 2022, evacuation orders for the central district were also lifted. As the town enters a significant turning point, schools reopened for the first time in 12 years in April of this year 2023, bringing back the cheerful voices of children.

FGC would like to support this initiative and has decided to start collecting donations of playground equipment, toys, children’s books, sports equipment, board games, and other items that are lacking at the after-school facilities.

If you have any unwanted items listed above at home, please consider sending them to us. The donated items will be checked and sorted by us before delivered to Okuma Town. We are looking forward to your support.
