“About 20,000 People (including On-Line participants) will be a Bridge between Africa, Asia and Japan, the Present and the Future.”

The weather was perfect for the 6th SEISA Africa Asia Bridge 2020 with the theme of "Chikei" (to know and to be connected). The new coronavirus infection measures were carefully implemented and six channels were created online. With a total of 6 embassies in Africa and Asia, including Japan, UNDP (United Nations Development Program, New York), and Yankin University of Education Junior and Senior High School (Myanmar), we were able to expand the circle of learning and involvement with about 20,000 people (including online attendants and participants) from more than nine countries to expand the circle of learning and engagement. We also received a powerful message from the Governor Mr. Kuroiwa of Kanagawa Prefecture. Students and neighbors from all over the country worked together to make SAAB's learning experience even better and more rewarding. We had presentations by junior and senior high school students from all over the countries on the SDGs as set forth by the United Nations with the countries in Africa and Asia; we invited top athletes and Paralympian to talk about their experiences and their relationship with the world through sports; and the finale of the event, where many people worked together in the main hall and online to work for the future.

We are looking forward to the Next Year's Event and we look forward to working with even more of you to build the SEISA Africa Asia Bridge.
