The Foundation for Global Children supports the development of young people around the world through sports. We have been currently accepting sports scholarship students from three countries - Eritrea, Bhutan and Myanmar. We would like to introduce the results of September's competitions.

[Archery]

Nidup from Bhutan, a 3rd-year student at SEISA Kokusai High School Shonan, came in the 2nd in Kanagawa Prefecture High School Archery Rookie Championships held on September 5th.

[Track and Field]

Natnael from Eritrea, a 2nd-year student of SEISA Kokusai High School Shonan, made his first appearance at the "Kanagawa Prefectural High School Rookie Athletic Meet West Regional Preliminary Round and National Remote Championships," held on September 5th and 6th. He ran 1,500m in 4:27.79. Merhawi, also a 2nd-year student, finished the 5,000m with a time of 15:43.08, setting a new personal record and finishing first on the team. Finally, Eritrean international student Dejen, a freshman at SEISA University, participated in All Japan Inter-College Championship held in Niigata Prefecture on September 11. His record was 29:54.10 and he finished 12th. Based on the results of the Hokuren Distance Challenge 2020 on July 19, Dejen was selected for the Kanto Student Athletic Federation.
