As a part of the STAR (Studay of Trust-Achievement-Respect) Program, 10 students and 4 teachers of RTC (Royal Thimphu Collage) from Bhutan, had visited Japan from January 27 till February 6.  The program aiming to support realizing Kyosei Society where people lives in harmony beyond differences, has been conducted every year since 2012. This is the 8th annual of the STAR program, and 10 students selected among 50 applicants, came to Japan.

During the stay, RTC students and teachers participated in various events, including interexchange  programs with students of SEISA, workshops to experience history, industry, art and culture of Japan. All the experiences were new for them, and filled with excitements and surprises wherever they go and whatever they do. In Japan, Bhutan is know as a "Country of Happiness". People from Bhutan seem to be especially content when sharing and interacting with other people together.  They were expressing joy from their heart when playing drums with students of SEISA and dancing Bhutanese dance.

We wish that students of STAR Program will make the best of their experiences in Japan and do well in study when they return to Bhutan to be successful after the graduation.
